It is said to be a rebranded iQoo Z9, which was introduced in China in April this year. Coronavirus Outbreak: Hyundai India orders COVID-19 testing kits from South Korea

Hyundai Motor India's CSR arm has announced immediate order of COVID-19 Advanced Diagnostic Testing Kits from South Korea. These kits, Hyundai says, have a very high level of accuracy and can help serve over 25,000 People.

Hyundai says that once the shipment of the kits is received, it will be distributed in consultation with Center and State Governments to the hospitals in affected areas.

Additionally, last week, Hyundai also announced initiatives to support its customers. The company announced that its 24x7 roadside assistance will be available for customers to ensure help in case any demanding situation arises.

Also, customers who were unable to avail their vehicle’s warranty/extended warranty/free service due to health emergency or dealership shutdown in affected cities, HMIL will offer extended support of two months.

Hyundai Motors India Limited has also deployed over 1,000 doorstep advantage bikes/Emergency Road Service cars from Dealers to reach customers for assistance in case of emergency and minor repairs.

Apple pays Russia a fine of $13.7 million, imposed for abusing its dominant position on the App Store

Apple has settled a Russian fine of 1.2 billion roubles ($13.65 million), according to Russia’s FAS antitrust agency. The fine was imposed due to allegations of Apple abusing its dominant market position in relation to in-app payments, as per a report by Reuters. Apple had previously expressed a “respectful disagreement” with the FAS ruling, contending that the distribution of apps through its iOS operating system did not unfairly favour its products. Russia’s anti-monopoly watchdog, FAS, announced on Monday that it received the payment following a November ruling. The ruling found Apple guilty of preventing app developers from informing customers that they could make purchases outside of the App Store. The payment will contribute directly to the Russian budget, supporting the government’s financial needs amid increased defense spending related to the conflict in Ukraine. This dispute between Apple and Russia’s competition regulator predates the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022

Layoffs continue at Amazon, tech giant terminates over 180 people from gaming division
